they are the cover images and the first thing users see. Generally, YouTubers do this very well and we can use them as an example. For this thumbnail, YouTube suggests three still photos taken from the same video, but it is best to make it personalized, taking great care of the image quality and adding a caption.

A good strategy to drive traffic to your brand's website or social media is to add captions within the video. You can add them before uploading the video to YouTube using an editing program or, once uploaded, create these texts in the "Annotations" section.
The great thing about annotations is that they can link to another video, a playlist, another channel, a Google+ page or profile, a fundraising project, or invite users to subscribe.

Youtube Cards
The annotations we just saw are a bit ugly because they are just text, there are mobile database uae nice fonts and they don't offer many options for colour. That's why Youtube has recently launched its own cards that are working very well. They are more visual, more attractive and, in addition, they allow you to include links to the brand's website.
Youtube Card
Youtube displays cards in the top right corner of videos. When the card is closed, an icon with the letter "i" appears; if the video playback reaches the time code where you placed the card, the title you have set appears, and if the user clicks on it, the full card is displayed.

Good examples Youtube5. Good examples on Youtube
Vilma Núñez finished her Youtube masterclass by showing some good examples of brands that are making the most of this social network. Here are two of them:
1. Video “The other letter from Ikea”
Ikea knows that annotations exist, but they give it a twist. At the end of one of their most successful videos, they place 3 annotations with links inviting users to share it on Google+, Facebook and Twitter. It's a good strategy because everyone who reaches the end of the video finds a web page where they can send their own letters and the buttons to share on social networks are highlighted. These are examples of Youtube functionalities used intelligently.

2. Luxy Hair Tutorials
This is a good example of a YouTube channel with valuable content. This girl wanted to sell hair extensions and the strategy she followed was to open a YouTube channel with a lot of tutorials giving advice on hairstyles, braids… Now she also collaborates with beauty brands.
