The Marketing Concept urgently requires a marketing campaign

Post by RafiRiFat336205 »

Recently, a good friend told me that marketing was evil. That the success of marketing was directly proportional to the deception of consumers. That marketing put people in debt and made them buy and desire things they didn't need at exaggerated prices.

I obviously replied that this was not the case, and I gave my reasons for my answer. But when I thought about what had happened, I realized something that I had not paid much attention to: the poor positioning that marketing has for ordinary people.

Have you ever heard anyone say the following statement? "No, that's just marketing" or "That product is just a marketing strategy"

A very recurrent phrase, it has a strong derogatory charge. As if marketing were the empty element that surrounds the real product, making the horrible attractive and the desirable what nobody wanted to use. It seems that we, who are dedicated to this discipline, have dedicated a lot of time to promoting all the brands that coexist in our environment today and we have dedicated very little time to strengthening the discipline as such, which for ordinary people seems to be quite vilified.

Marketing is not the art of turning something bad into all mobile number list something good. On the contrary, marketing responds to the need to survive in increasingly competitive markets. Marketing is a much broader concept than many people think, and it is far from being a tool or discipline that is only necessary to sell products or services.

When we talk about a product that has a well-done or at least well-achieved marketing, we are talking about one that has an established approach. In addition, it must have an accurate and validated audience segmentation in reality. Along with this, it must have optimal distribution and access channels for the targeted audience. If all of the above were not enough, it must have an adequate market value with effective and direct communication, adapted to the type of profile selected. All of this, assuming that in its essence the element comes to satisfy an unsatisfied need that the market did not contemplate and that had a group of people large enough to make the process of the brand's existence profitable. In short, a product with a good marketing strategy comes to satisfy an unsatisfied market segment and therefore improve the quality of life for its specific benefit.
