Navigate to Internal Storage > WhatsApp > Databases and copy the .crypt14 files.

Copy media from the Media folder as well.

For iPhone:

Use iTunes to back up your entire device.

Or use tools like iMazing or Dr.Fone for whatsapp number database selective WhatsApp extraction.

This method keeps an offline copy of your chat history and media — especially useful before a phone reset, OS upgrade, or number change.



Once complete, install WhatsApp on the iPhone and log in — your chat history will appear.
