Disable Media Auto-Download

In the Data and Storage Usage menu, you will see an option for "Media auto-download." Tap on this option to access the media download settings.
Step 5: Select Wi-Fi
You will see three options for media auto-download: When using mobile data, When connected on Wi-Fi, and When roaming. To turn off data usage for WhatsApp, make sure whatsapp number database that only the Wi-Fi option is selected. This will ensure that media files are only downloaded when you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Step 6: Disable Call Settings
If you also want to conserve data usage for WhatsApp calls, you can disable the "Low data usage" option in the settings menu. This will prevent WhatsApp from using excessive data during voice and video calls.
Step 7: Save Settings
Once you have adjusted your settings to your liking, make sure to save your changes by tapping on the save button at the bottom of the screen. Your WhatsApp data settings will now be updated, and you can rest easy knowing that you won't be using up all of your mobile data on WhatsApp.
