Ever since Facebook changed its name to Meta, the metaverse has become attractive to all kinds of brands. But even before that, brands were already diving into this digital realm. We take a look at 10 major mainstream brands that are ready to make their mark in the metaverse.

Samsung
South Korean tech giant Samsung has opened a virtual version of its flagship 837 store in New York City, but now you can visit it inside Decentraland . The 837X virtual store is a showcase for the company's latest announcements at the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas. It includes three areas: the Communication Theater, the Forest of Resilience, and the Customization Stage. In the early days of the event, visitors even had the chance to win a limited edition digital fashion. The Samsung store at Decentraland will be open for a limited time, but Samsung plans to launch more 837X stores on other platforms.

Coca-cola
In 2021, Coca Cola launched its first NFT collection alongside a virtual event at Decentraland. All in celebration of Friendship Day on July 30th. Coca Cola hosted a virtual party on top of its virtual Coke can building. Attendees had the chance to win some very rare gadgets, and the party kicked off with an auction of the Coca Cola Friendship Box NFT pack.

Nike
In December 2021, Nike acquired RTFKT (Artifact) Studios, a digital b2b email list fashion brand with a strong presence in the NFT community. As a result, Nike now has access to the premier digital fashion brand and a metaverse ready for CloneX avatars . RTFKT has already launched various wearables, including NFTs that will be used in Decentraland. In addition, they have been selling NFTs that can be exchanged for physical items, and they have allowed certain communities to purchase exclusive sneakers. All of this suggests that Nike has acquired one of the strongest fashion brands in the metaverse to date.
