Tencent Technology News According to foreign media reports, a new technology developed by LG has changed the traditional position of fingerprint recognition, which can be used to develop thinner and lighter smartphones.
LG Innotek, a subsidiary of LG, recently announced that the company has successfully developed an integrated fingerprint recognition module, which is as small as 0.01 inches and does not expose the sensor to the outside.
LG Innotek's integrated glass fingerprint recognition module c level executive list implants the fingerprint recognition sensor into the tempered glass, changing the traditional fingerprint scanning module that was round or square before. It was previously embedded on the outside of the phone such as the home button. This design allows the finger to contact the sensor, thereby activating the fingerprint recognition function.
However, LG Innotek's new technology uses a different method. They embed the fingerprint scanning module into the back of the tempered glass. There is a small hole of 0.3 mm at the bottom of the tempered glass, where the fingerprint sensor is installed.
